Bowl History:
The first Orange Bowl game was played in 1935 featuring a win by Bucknell University over the University of Miami 26-0. The game was played at the Miami Orange Bowl from 1935 until 1995 and was moved to Dolphin Stadium in 1996. In 1999 game was moved back to the Miami Orange Bowl due to a scheduling conflict with a Miami Dolphins playoff game. Presently, the Orange Bowl hosts the champion of the Atlantic Coast Conference unless that team is involved in the BCS National Championship Game.
